Year 2 - Mrs Wilson

Welcome to our Year 2 class page!

My name is Mrs Wilson, and I am the class teacher. We are also very lucky to have Ms Norman supporting our learning across Year 2.

We work together with the other Year 2 class and enjoy learning together as part of the wider Year 2 team.

We can’t wait to see what we can achieve together this year and look forward to lots of exciting learning ahead

Topic

For the beginning of the Spring Term, our Context for Learning is Evolving Technology, where we will explore how technology in our homes has changed from the past to the present and how it may look in the future. This term we will also learn about role models in the world of performance arts and prepare for our St David's Day celebrations.

Homework

Pupils will be given a reading book which is changed weekly on a Friday and will also have access to the class lending library where they can choose a book to share with their family.

In numeracy, pupils have access to their own Sumdog accounts to practice their maths skills through online games and activities.

Pupils should also regularly practice correct letter and number formation and the reading and spelling of high frequency words.
