School has an Early Intervention Class (EIC) for pupils with speech and language needs. The EIC offers short term provision for pupils in progression step 2 across Cardiff. Provision of places is organised by Cardiff Local Authority with decisions being made by a Speech and Language Provision Panel.

Our school has created a dedicated sensory room to provide pupils with a calm, quiet space whenever they need time to regulate, refocus or simply take a break from busy environments. The room also serves as a safe place for children to release energy and manage emotions in a supported way. Equipped with soft play resources, sensory toys, balance balls, spinning toys, and sound and light machines, the space offers a range of experiences that help pupils feel grounded and ready to learn. Sensory rooms are a valuable part of a nurturing school environment, helping children develop self-regulation skills and ensuring that everyone has the support they need to thrive.
